WHY NOT THE NORTH. WE HAVE THE BEST SCENARY

An American in Ireland
Wow no one said Lahinch or Doolin on the Western Coast County Clare.

Close to Galway to the North and Shannon to the South. Best Airport that is close is Shannon can catch any bus to Lahinch.

Mind ur business!!

Strandhill in Sligo... its a really nice town to go out in too, its not far from Sligo town and theres a hostel which is a stones throw from the waves and costs about €18.00 a night... theres also a campsite just off the beach

Dublin - Many museums and of course, the Guinness tour!

Galway City - During the oyster festival

dingle, clare, and donegal for surfing. in donegal, go to bundoran...has an annual 'ocean fest' that's all about surfing. rough waves, like in the northwest (so my seattle surfer-brother tells me), but dingle is also meant to be good (so says the irish rashers commercial and lots of friends)

Head out to either Dingle or the Ring of Kerry, make sure you visit the Cliffs of Moher.
