Where is the best place in Ireland for a weekend for 2 if you get the drift ?
Would that be a dirty weekend you have in mind? We couldn't condone that sort of thing at all.
Bring her somewhere where it's constantly raining, like Leitrim. That way you'll have to stay indoors for the weekend and amuse yourselves by playing spin the bottle, truth or dare, naked twister etc.

You'll want to do other things besides the obvious. Westport is full of things to do and see, and if you feel energetic you might even climb Croagh Patrick together or go out the bay and visit Clare Island. And the night scene is lively in Westport, lots to choose from.

My husband and I went to this little town a little ways outside of Dublin called Navan. It's small and quaint, but the people are amazingly hospitable and the scenery is very pretty. When we went it actually rained most of the time, and we even saw some snow fall, so it gave us a good reason to stay in and enjoy each other's company.
