Dublin is a great place to go to in Ireland and if it is just you then finding somewhere cheap to stay if it's a family of four or more it's more difficult as there aren't many family rooms in the hotels there....

Lots of things to do... Bus tours, walking tours, shopping, sight seeing, tours of the guiness factory, Croke Park, National transport museum, National wax museum, Trinity College....

I'm from Northern Ireland, our captial Belfast is another great place in Ireland if you like the hustle and bustle

If you want to experience rural Ireland then Donegal is a nice place to go very relaxing with beautiful countryside and beaches, or Cork has gorgeous scenery, there are many lesiure and sporting activites or you can go sight seeing.

There are lots of other places that may interest you

This sight has loads of different spots in Ireland to discover...

Hope this helps you

Killarney had got to be the place to go to in Ireland. The people are friendly and the Guinness is excellent, I know because I was born their.

I liked Cork, and Blarney. But there doesn't seem to be anything in Ireland that isn't too expensive, anymore. In fact, there doesn't seem to be MUCH that isn't expensive, anymore.

Happy Travels!

Hey!!!!!!!!
Please dont go to all the sterotypical places, blarney stone, etc.

Dublin is fabulous. Donegal is beautiful, but the mourne mountains are spectacular. Speaking as a well-travelled native of the newry area id have to say it truly is spectacular. Ireland's a wonderul place so take your time and see it all!!! x

well im going to tell you about south armagh and the down area, where i live in other words.

there is the mourne mountains, it is absolutely beautiful with lots of outdoor activities, including hill walking, cycling, climbing, fishing, horse riding etc.

flagstaff viewpoint over looks waters to warrenpoint.
then there is newry city, 2 big shopping centres, cinema, bowling.

oh and then just a 20 min drive into the south from newry there is carlingford, with more beautiful sights, i could go on and on.

If you are young with plenty of energy fly to Galway. Lots to do and see great bars and night life, Great shopping areas. Lovely walks down by the sea at Salthill. Plenty of hostels & b&bs at resonable rates.
