Depends what you want to do! I used to go to Christ Church Cathedral at midnight with the church bells ringing to see in the new year outside with others who had spent the evening having a quiet drink or meal in one of the many pubs or restaurants on Dame Street or the surrounding area.

Culdaff is on the money. There is nowhere else to be at midnight on 31st December in Dublin. Get the nosh up below in the Bar or wherever. Have a few to wash it down. Collect the kids outa bed and bring manky duvets and a hipflask of Paddy. To die for. Happy christmas and a Propsperous New Year from Thurrock Essex worse luck
