The Exotic Dr. Congo

Which areas of the Republic of Ireland contain the most religious Catholics?

The Outlaw
Doengal where I am from are mostly Catholics but most of them no longer go to church.

Usually the most rural areas, like Connemara in the west, south Kerry and Donegal

Orla C
I think near the border areas, from my own experience. They're positively rabid in Donegal ....

But I don't think too many Irish are very religious anymore. It's more the Polish and other non-Irish Catholics that are going to Mass now.

The Seminary at Clonliffe College. I think they have 2 students there this year.

The west probably, crazy sun worshipers

Very few are religious these days. Most of the educated young have realised the nonsense of the money making Popery and shun the church.

The most religious Catholics are the elderly. Most younger people are somewhat indifferent. So your real question is - which areas have the most elderly Catholics? Answer - take your pick. There are elderly Catholics everywhere.
