Dublin is definitly bigger with almost 1/3 of the irish population.

Well not this week end, it's bank hollidays and everyone just left the city....

Greater Cork is between 280 000 to 350 000
Greater Dublin is between 1 to 1.6 Million

Ireland is 4.2 Millions

Black
Dublin is a larger city then Cork and Cork is a larger county then Dublin

Yes, it's Dublin. Having lived here for almost 5 years, I can safely say that Dubs are not dirty, as someone above seems to think.

Dublin is much bigger than Cork (approx 5 times as large in terms of population).

The city centres are almost identical and its very hard to tell them apart. Dublin has much more suburbs and small outlining towns though.

Galway city is better than both Dublin and Cork imo.

DUBLIN of course

Dublin but i suggest that you go to Cork because it will be easier to get around and it's not another Chicago or Birmingham, AL.

Dublin is bigger but Cork is by far nicer, the people are much more friendly .

Hate to admit that Dublin is bigger.
But only the city is bigger.
The county of Dublin could fit into Cork county about 4 times.
Cork is the biggest county in Ireland in terms of area

Isnt Dublin the capital of Ireland?

I think Cork is a prettier place than Dublin, but unfortunately here size does matter and I think Dublin has it

So its DUBLIN regretfully

PS You could try Google Earth and a tape measure!!

Dublin is slightly bigger, it has a population of just over 1 million where as Cork has a population of just over 800,000
