hmm toughie, by least modern you mean the proverbial "ballygobackwards" i presume?. for me that would be broughshane in county antrim or perhaps grey abbey in county down. jesus christ! the people in these towns still think they just settled there from britain. Loads of signs on houses saying "tidiest street in britain" "best kept garden in britain" HELLO! MORONS your in ireland what the fuc'k has britain got to do with IRELAND? the place was unbelievable (broughshane) vicars for tea knitting circles church bazaars and loads of empty churches on a sunday, boy scouts dob dob dobbing and all that shite!. only thing missing was the cricket pavillion that one would normally associate with middle england. I always thought ballymena was an orange hole but broughshane scared me!

i'd say kerrys because its the most rural but then killarney and tralle are modern. So after that i would probably say carlow because....its carlow

wexford!! it is an old town with pleanty of castles remaining!!! i personally think wexford is georgeous with its lovely quay front!!

DONEGAL EVERY TIME
WENT THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME 2 WEEKS AGO AND INTENDED ON STAYING FOR 3 DAYS BUT THAT WAS WAY TO LONG I ENDED UP LEAVING ON THE END OF THE SECOND DAY.
