Which hotels are nice to stay in Cork? |
Im going to Cork next weekend and I don't know which hotel to book
Want to be quite central to everything with no huge banks to climb as my Fiance has mild asthma
So far I have been going to book The Imperial, The Clarion, The Ambassador and The Jury's Cork but keep changing my mind having never been I don't know where to go
I want somewhere with a good atmosphere not too cheap as it is my treat to my partner but not stupidly expensive

Jury's and the Clarion are both lovely - the Clarion is more central with better access to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Jury's is about a 10-15 min walk from the centre but is a nicer hotel. You don't have to walk up any hills to reach either one. |

The montenotte hotel is a real top notch place. Its not a five star, we do have a five star but i dont know where it is lol
For an apartment their i think its 2000 a week, or is that a month?? not sure, my friend lived there for a while. Its where all the tourists go. Its right on the edge of the city along ''lovers walk''.
They have hotel rooms to, though i dont know prices. It has a free gym, poll and tub, Great bar/resturant, a very nice spot. |

They are call quite central, just pick the one you think gives the best deal. The close to the river Lee, the better, as Cork is actually quite hilly ... |

I live beside Jury's. It was only built about two years ago and looks like a very nice place, though i am unaware of the prices. If you google "jurys hotel Cork" you'll get it. Its on Western Road which leads right into the city centre. Its only a one minute walk to st.patricks street, which is the main city centre street and would be idle for your situation,(if the prices suit!) In the opposite direction, about 30 seconds, is cork university college, a nice place to see. Also if the weather is good, if you walk past the college to your right is Fitzgerald park(5mins walk) which is always busy and good fun, a nice small little muesum in there two, well worth having a luck at. My advice, if the prices suit, JURY'S! |

The prices vary so often that you really need to just compare all the travel sites. I would recommend checking out BookMe dot com. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites, and save money. Good luck! |
