There are a numbe rof various nteresting places of the type you seek to fill in those 6 hours. MightI suggest the following;
St. Mary's Pro Cathedral - Talbot Street D1
Christ Church situated in Dublin 2
Trinity College St. Stephens Green Dublin 2, where you can view the renowned BOOK OF KELLS
Dublin Castle
Leinster House (from the outside) which is the Irish Government Buildings.
There is also the Writers Museum in Parnell Square Dublin 1
to name but a few. Hope this helps

Podge and Rodge Tribute Band
You must visit Dail Eireann at Leinster House. They have the biggest collection of shysters, gombeen men, liars and brown envelope followers in Ireland. When you get to the main gate at Leinster House just ask them for a Fianna Fail representative. He'll only be too happy to show you the tricks of the trade.

guiness factory,it's great there and at the top you get to have a pint of the black stuff too.

Dublin Castle, the Guinness museum, the beaches, pubs, restaurants, and of course all the great shops.

Grafton Street for the shops - although it's more cosmopolitan now than it once was. Trinity College - and make sure you see the Book of Kells. Temple Bar for a newer, studenty and post-studenty Dublin (and the national film centre has a really good cafe if you're there at lunchtime.
If you want to do the national pilgrimage, the GPO and Kilmainham Jail. And if it's a fine evening, take a walk on the quays before doing the Musical Pub Crawl.

http://www.viator.com/tours/Ireland/The-Dublin-Pass/d56-2032DUB_PASS < -- This gives you a basic rundown of things to do in Ireland.

The Guinness house, Dublin Zoo, Croke Park, Wicklow Jail , Kilmanen Jail and the GPO which is a post office with a great historical significance to it are great things to see.

In Dublin, The best night life is definitely in Temple Bar. It’s big, It’s modern and It’s expensive while it has loads of history and culture to it too.
