Which pubs in Dublin are Arsenal friendly? |
I'm a huge Arsenal supporter traveling to Dublin from the United States. I'll be in Dublin for the Arsenal @ Manchester United (scum) match on May 16th. I need to know which pubs I can actually wear an Arsenal shirt into. |

The main place supporters meet is the Kates Cottage in Amiens Street.

I don't think you'll have a problem, whatever pub you go to, There are united fans everywhere here so chances are wherever you go you'll probably be outnumbered, but it certainly won't be a problem, there will be some light harte slagging but thats it. Personally for big games I always like to go to Sinnott's on South King Street facing The Gaiety Theatre under Stephens Green Shopping Centre, Massive Screen and good atmosphere, also The Woolshed on Parnell Street has a great atmosphere during Big Games, Its an Australlian bar but get a great football crowd.

in most pubs there will always be a mix of fans, but everyone gets on anyway. I agree with the last user who said Sinnots pub-thats pretty good, and in the city centre so easy to get to. I used to watch a lot of arsenal games there.
Roddy Bolands in Rathmines is good too, big screen and gets pretty packed for a match so good atmosphere. But its a bit out of the city centre.
Have fun, and go Arsenal :) |

Just wear the Arsenal shirt underneath, and if you walk into a pub and see others with Arsenal shirts and not the rivals, Bring out your Arsenal shirt and then your good! |

As far as I know, football hooliganism is not that popular in Ireland. True sports connoisseurs admire skilful playing regardless of the team the player or supporter is with. Everyone else is just rabble looking to upset people and pick a fight. |
