Best service is not quite right, the less crap is more like it....
I have NTL (Cable) 3Mb for 29.99 a month, no VoIP, no TV over IP and 30Go download limit per month.
My folks in France for 24.99 have 10 Mb, no cap, IP TV, free WIFI router, VoIP phone to 50 countries for free....
So we are a bit lagging here.... |

We've had very bad service from Eircom, and are very happy with BT now, hardly any downtimes, but the best service varies with the area, I've been told. We are in rural Donegal. |

I'm with Gaelic telecom - they charge me 9.99 a month for always on and it's very fast with very little downtime.
While it's a great price for the service you have to take their telephone calls package to get that rate - mind you you have to do that with most of the others too.
BTW downtime is something they're all going to be prone to more or less evenly I would think as anytime our bband is down all bband in the area tends to be down. In our case downtime is usually explained by a fault at the local exchange. |
