Yeah. Feckin' shite
Looks like Ireland changed from one extreme to another
Rise and fall
Pay cuts, people working 3 days a week...
Did you notice if anything is cheaper...
I've read in Herald that prices fell by 0.1%
But pay cuts are by 10%
The worst is as you said that everyone is just talking about recession, recession, recession... |

I hear you - but unfortunately, I am also affected. Nobody is buying art! But bills still need to be paid.
But instead of wasting energy griping about it, I think it's better to actively find ways of dealing with it. |

Absolutely sick to the molars of it. Granted, we KNOW the recession is here, the budget was a disaster, we're gonna be paying for the governments f**k up for years, we know this, there's no need for constant reminders there's a good chance our next ten years on earth are gonna be as tight as a frogs hole! Enough about it!! Hopefully, with no rain, and a bit of sunshine, we might be able to cheer up. |

Trust me I'm a Doctor ♥

I'd rather listen to news about the recession and be informed of the current situation than I would listen to all the mad panic about swine flu, that is doing my head in. |

No, I'm not tired of it yet. I am learning something about managing even better. I was always a bit careful - now I am frugal and apparently very trendy. And probably need to be. I still have the job, but losing it is always on the cards. I appreciate how lucky I am - there are thousands of people worse off than me, who have already lost jobs and maybe also their homes, anxiously waiting for some sign that things are getting better. |

I totally agree with you.
Has half the population forgotten what it feels like to be hungary for life?
Has half the population forgotten this old Irish saying too?
"An Irishman's Philosophy
In life, there are only two things to worry about—
Either you are well or you are sick.
If you are well, there is nothing to worry about,
But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about—
Either you will get well or you will die.
If you get well, there is nothing to worry about,
But if you die, there are only two things to worry about—
Either you will go to heaven or hell.
If you go to heaven, there is nothing to worry about.
And if you go to hell, you’ll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends
You won’t have time to worry! "
P.S- Anyway I am looking forword to my life in a cave next year.
If it is good enough for Batman, it is good enough for me.

I'm sick of having a food budget of €20 a week. I'm sick of the fact that I haven't been able to go out in over 6 months. I'm sick of not being able to find a job. You've only had to take a pay cut but some of us are barely able to survive. |
