Vinny

Who would you like to see as next late late show host?

Pats going soon( thank jaysus) he's so wooden-its like watching a robot present a show-I often feel for him when hes trying to chat on certain topics -You can feel how uncomfortable he is lol...Not a patch on Gay byrne ...But id prefer him to stay on as host over ryan tubridy-as wooden and boring as pat can be Ryan tubridy would be painful to watch, tried watching his saturday night show and its just awful, guests are often good but hes just so false..hes laughs at nothing .Id like to see eitheir miriam o callaghan as next host -shes sexy - straight to the point -can hold a debate -speaks her views-shes like a female gay bryne (apart from the sexy part haha) who would you like to be the next host of the legendary late late show??
Additional Details
Meant to type up theire eitheir miriam or ray darcy -but id prefer miriam

I agree with Crazy Girl I like Eamon Dunphy ,I think he would make an Excellent Compere. A few Years ago he had some Problems which where making him Cantankerous I think but he seems to be fine now.

I like Derek Mooney he is very Witty ,Joe Duffy would be Excellent as well.
I think Miriam O Callaghan is very Intelligent and Sexy She would be Great. Pat Kenny always Reminded me of the Old Style Bank Managers or Tax Officials who did not like giving you any Money.

RTE is very Boring with not much Entertainment, just a load of Discussion Programmes with just the odd Decent Programme thrown in like a good Picture or Detective Story.
I find it has some Good Programmes after 1.00am in the Night time when everybody is falling Asleep. With some good French Pictures and Foreign Pictures occasionally.
They seem to have a load of Pro Government Propaganda Programmes and down through the Years they have used Fair City to push different Messages to the Public ,I hate this it destroys the Plots.

Ray all the way! However someone said Gerry Ryan has a good chance, I really hope not. Don't think Ray wants to do it though

Podge and Rodge would be my choice.

Smurf
I think Dara O'Briain would be absolutely perfect for the job. He is so intelligent. It's not even funny how smart he is and he would have the crack as well. Really into politics as well. What more could you want? Unfortunately I think he has ruled himself out of the running for the job.

I don't think Ray would be suitable for it to be honest. I think hes great for his own show but I don't think he has the political knowledge to do the job.

Miriam O'Callaghan is probably the one for the job. She should get the job. She has all the credentials for the job. Think O'Briain would be better but she is definitely next best and probably most likely to get the job.

God love us all if Tubridy gets it. It won't last 2 weeks.

Dump it in the bin. It has run it's course.
Even the UK and USA chat shows have all become boring, same old faces, same old topics, same old ***** trying to revive a career or launch a new book or CD.
Old runs of Laurel and Hardy, in black and white, would be more entertaining.

Misty Blue
Dylan Moran,I wish.:)

Derek Mooney or Miriam.Either would be good. They both like a good debate and are well imformed seasoned presenters but Derek has slightly more charm.

I'm not a fan of Miriam at all, I thought she was brutal on her own chat how, Ray would be a bit of craic, but what about Sean Moncrieff, at least he has some cheeky wit, and might drag the Late Late out of mid 70s malaise. Actually, the whole concept needs a drastic over haul.

I can't stand Tubrudy, if Pat is a plank, yer man in a wooden stick insect....ughghgh, sends shivers down my spine. But RTE is still looking after their own, they'll promote someone they see as loyal, not someone deserving.

I am probably going to get a load of thumbs down for this.

But I will say it anyway.

But I think Eamon Dunphy.
I do not even follow sport much. So that is not why I would pick him.

But I think Eamon is an interesting Character who really worked himself up in a difficult business.I find him very funny but also very sensitive at times too.

I do not really care if ye agree with me or not.

He would bring back a bit of colour to the Late late show and it would make interesting viewing.
Interesting viewing is always a good thing during a Recession.
