ha films always have ireland in de old days , they go to the really old towns with all the sheep lol ......... and they get the actors to do a really old irish accent that are long gone lol
but im irish and i can do that accent but still its not our accent lol and when were in spain its like oh your irish but thats not an irish accent lol

Ah, Faith and begorra, you say! My grandmother was Irish and did have a little accent, but you are right, it sure wasn't that thick!

I think other than the movie PS I Love You, most Irish films are set in 'way back when' because there is alot more attraction in how ireland was, the drama of the war and famine, for audienences as opposed to modern ireland. maybe...
