Why are folk from roscommon the most friendliest of Irish people. All Irish are nice but Roscommoners are fab?
why thank you (blush) we do try more than most, thats the secret and the fact we rarely see tourists round these parts these days :( makes us all the more accommodating when they eventually do turn up

I totally agree! Im from dublin, but spent a week in roscommon over the summer with a group of mates, the locals were SOO friendly, the bar staff gave 6 of us a lifts to our rented house each night because there were no taxis!
Lovely people.

I've found people from Roscommon to be the epitome of evil Are they the devils children in disguise?
Only joking - they are great really.

That's a generalisation, each county has their fair share of friendly and not-so-friendly people.

I am so glad you found Roscommon folk so friendly.
Ever think it is your own personality that inspires this friendship ,, if any of us was "an aul grump" I hardly think we might inspire the friendship .. Full marks to your good self!

I think you'll find that Galway is actually the friendliest and most scenic place in Ireland/The World!! LOL!!
