Not just men, I've seen women do it too! But some drivers, once they have passed their test, think they own the road.
If your slow getting away from the traffic lights, there is a cacophony of sound from behind you. And if you're brave enough try driving at the indicated speed limit. |

because they all genuinely believe they are a better driver than Michael Schumacher & he robbed them of a promising career ...
best thing to do is become good at giving rude gestures (though maybe refrain from doing any on your test !!!) then when you pass go out & buy a Porsche 911 Turbo & the same guys will let you in all the time !!! |

men like to take the opportunity to show off their driving skills (when were not playing F1 games in the local arcade) and if someone is getting in the way of this then men mentality or "menality" (a new word that i'm copywriting tomorrow) comes into effect.
This is when we simply look at the vehilce with the L plate and think, whats going to go wrong here, i'm not dying for the sake of her/him indicating right and turning left, so we sound the horn and then overtake facing oncoming traffic and blame you guys.
Sorry if that is offensive but you'll be at our standards in about 20 - 40 lessons......

So you haven't seen how some women drive? How about the ones who are paying more attention to their hair and makeup then they are to driving? And how about the ones who can't get off the cellphone and drift from lane to lane, causing near collisions? Then there are the ones who are either eating or reading? it's not just men, and it's just not learner drivers. i get frustrated with the instructors, if your learner isn't capable of pulling away at a green light before it turns red then take them to a quiet road and get them to practise. they are paying you to learn to drive properly |
