Why do people think ireland is so good, pretend they are friendly? |
i mean, they have no time for each other, yet they are so friendly to visitors, they should join united kingdom and be sincerely unfriendly like everyone else in the british isles |

They are much more genuine than the Brits. And I didn't find the Brits, unfriendly, just kind of unsincerely friendly. Of course they're busy, like anyone else in this world, but if you live with them you notice that they're much kinder and friendlier than other Europeans. |

people in Ireland are friendly. maybe you had a bad experience because of your own bad attitude? |
|

Well, with an attitude like that, it's no wonder you don't get on with people.
We have plenty of time for each other, where did you get the idea that we don't? If you are Irish and hiding it, you clearly have issues. Get help. |

Seriously, How old are you?
Do U think B4 U type or Ask?
Join the UK, the Bollix w/that idea...
Um mm...Have U read a history book?
Irish nature is that of a kind soul, those who don't know they just don't posses the same traits...If ya don't 'mind your ways' and are of total disrespect, any nationality would have the right to ask you to be gone w/it, or to walk away.
Ur not a positive person RU? |

You must have been looking in strange places - where I live (and anywhere else I have been) the people are lovely. |

It's probably because the people there are friendly. I've been there ten times (literally!) and have always found the people to be very friendly and helpful. My co-workers who have been there will tell you the same. |

I am Irish and I have not yet come a nation so nice and friendly as Ireland. My neighbours are a really friendly bunch, all ways dropping round to visit, giving me a lift to places if my parents aren't at home.
I will finish in saying
WE WILL NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER, BE PART OF THE UK. |

My experience in Ireland was wonderful, full of friendly people.
Maybe you were a little less than pleasant while there? |

I like the Irish ... obviously you have a different opinion. Did you have a bad experience in the British Isles?? :-) |

Oh look, more or less everybody that's answered has disagreed with you. I'm going to do the same. Get off your high horse. If the attitude displayed here is the one that came across while you were in Ireland, then it's no wonder they didn't like you.
I'm Irish, and have PLENTY of time for others. And also disagree with the comment about others in the British isles being sincerely unfriendly. So, where are you from then? I'll take a stab in the dark and say England. |
