Going a bit off topic here, but in response to andy, as an Irish woman I find the Edinburgh accent is a bit effeminate and nasally. A decent Weegie accent (not a neddie one) is much more manly and sexy.
As for us Irish girls, I guess it depends on the girl. My own 'public speaking' accent is much nicer than my 'at home in the bog' accent. I doubt anyone would want to take me home if they heard the way I speak when I'm mid-sibling-row or yelling at the dogs. You could try bottling it and selling it as an anti-aphrodisiac...

try the edinburgh accent and compare it to glasgow for example, edinburgh is smooth and sexy where as glasgow is straight out of the gutter.
