I agree 100% with you, we are living in a big brother state, what other greedy government would refuse the go-ahead of a cervical cancer vaccine which could save 1000's of lives because it costs too much?
Where we travel over the border to the north to do our shopping because the cost of living is scandelous in the republic, our health care system is sh1t,with that greedy b1tch mary harney spending all our taxpayers money on 500euro haircuts, for god sakes you have to travel to the north to buy gripe water, which is alcohal free!!!!! And one of the highest unemployment rates in Europe??
This country needs a revolution, the french wouldnt stand for it. |

Is it?
I've been going there for over twenty years and I've never noticed anything wrong...
Have you ever been there?
If you posted this question, I doubt you've ever been to Ireland. |

After having a look at your profile, it seems you are a petrol head?
You base the good things in life on the size of an engine, the more fuel consumption the better? You are the type that puts massive double exhausts on your car, drives down the road breaking the noise barrier so that you'll be noticed??
Do you know what 99% of other motorists call you when overtake them in your mini-metro with a reconditioned boeing 747 engine in it??
Think about it.... Im sure you'll grow out of puberty at some stage!!
Research Ireland, educate yourself, there's more to life than oil and grease. |

If you don't like Ireland, leave...quite simple really!
Why is it necessary to put 12 question marks ?
Are you sure you are over 13? |
|

if thats what you think then if you live here you should leave, or if you visit here you should never come back |

You get out what you put in. I think it's a user error.
The only time I've heard people say or think Ireland is crap is in regard to attitudes such as Chris' here in the answers. Random hostile bigotry always make anyplace feel crappy. |

Is it? perhaps you need to go to Specsavers! |

How is Ireland crap?
Maybe the weather a lot of the time, or the economy at the moment, but don't generalise like that. |

If you don't like it, there's a whole world out there for you to go and lose yourself in.
You might find that, by comparison, Ireland isn't crap at all. |

Because you dont apprecaite how good of a country it is, and i agree with what chris said 100%. |

Ireland is very far from being crap . if you take a good look around at other country's Ireland is not so bad at all , yes there are some problems but not so bad as in some E U country's , and yes it is expensive , and that needs sorting out , but over all the quality of life is so much better , its not all about material things , over the years Ireland has faced adversity but the people have stayed strong and overcome it all , Ireland is a great little country |

Its amazing! I love it and i couldn't see myself anywhere else in the world!
You are really unappreciative! Do you realise how lucky we are as a nation?
That we have no war
Don't suffer from major natural disasters
Have no famine atm
Don't suffer from major diseases e.g. HIV/AIDS
That we stayed neutral during past wars
We are one of the most well off countries in Europe
That we have a good healthcare system ( no matter how much we complain about it)
Theres such a thing as democracy here
Men and women have equal rights
Can you just think about it for a minute?
Gawd like, people like you make me sooo mad! |

Thats a very subjective question. Every place in the world has its good and bad points. Its what you make of it. It may also be what kind of a person you are.
I like to think that I'm a likable person and I see the good in most people and places.
You need to have an open mind. If you had a bad experience in Ireland, get over it and move on. |
|

James G
|
you and anyone else who agreed with you seriously need to cop on to yourselves and get educated!
try Ruanda for a year. check out their healthcare systems. check out the price of a loaf (or maybe the availability of food and water suitable for young children). check out the gruesome scars of a genocidal massacre. check out the mass graves. and when you come back (and you will) grow the **** up!! |
