Ireland is so green because of the weather.. it's rained every day this summer! I don't know many people with green eyes, but make have green faces the morning after a heavy nights drinking
check out wikipedia for the history of the flag... it's too much to type about here..
people associate Ireland with the colour green , because of saint Patrick... he used a shamrock ( our national flower/symbol- and which many mistake for a 4 leaf clover, ) which has 3 petals, and he used this to explain the holy trinity to the people he spoke to about christianity on his travels around Ireland...

it isnt. ireland is a joke. they are alcoholics who like to fight with everyone. for real. they speak english the place isnt green, its brown and dirty. i hate it. i live there. the flag is green white and orange.
