Ulster Defence Association? Weren't they extremist Orange, or something? The Protestant mirror image of the IRA?

If I'm wrong, I apologise unreservedly to UDA supporters out there. But we do know that there were extremes in both directions.

Although I am VERY HAPPY, indeed, about this apparent cessation, of hostilities, I feel that it would be WISE, to remain cautious! In spite of the current "LULL", in the situation, over there, I do NOT think that the problem is OVER, for GOOD!

It will lie DORMANT, for a while, - but, with people like Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness on ONE side, talking their brand of "PEACE", - and IAN PAISLEY on the OTHER, with HIS, - eventually, SPARKS will FLY!

I agree with the first answer. You never know what is around the corner. Hopefully it will last cos it's a blessing to have peace in this small country but as the first answer pointed out it may not last forever.
