I would not worry about it. You did not say it with an “r”. Just go up to the teacher and say you were stressed and made a mistake. I knew a person who said fu? K in a college exam and got out of it. They had to write a letter of apology and got over 80%. You could also say you said the word in context and mention a well-respected author that curses in a novel. It does not matter anyway. You could fail all your mocks and it fails to matter. It is the junior you will remember. Leaving after that. Ask anybody after two years and they will not remember what they got in their mocks, nor care. It does seem important at the time do.

You could also say you were on about your beloved donkey who is only half their.
Good Luck.

Aisling xx
Haha! Thats kinda funny! Nah they won't fail you because of it, you might have put them in a bit of a bad mood correcting your paper and that may have cost you a few marks.
But sher 60% of the exam is your guest speaker thingy so its kinda hard to fail!

Leaine Ni Loingsigh
Nah. CSPE is a load of crap anyhow.

dollymix (now geeky for a month)
Ha ha!Louise what are you like?! =] Nah I wouldn't say they would fail you~ your expressing your opinion about politics and stuff. They can't fail you because of that! Ha ha!

Plus it's only the mocks, and it's only 40%, the other 60% is from our trip to the Dáil!

jakemcclake
It is better then writing "Woopsies".

Whether or not the examiner will fail you, depends on the rest of your exam. Chances are, using half-assed didn't help.

Better words for half-assed would be: breathtakingly bad, jaw dropping stupid, etc. I recommend using a phrase like breathtakingly before an unflattering description, it calls your attention to it. We expect the word Beautiful after Breathtakingly. It is something I learned from reading JD Salinger.

Alice
Well, it's a somewhat vulgar expression, but I doubt that the examiner would fail you just for using that.
