Chris Brown is the man!

Would you except a knighthood?

Being Irish, would you except a knighthood. (for whatever reason you might be offered one... i dunno say you stopped the Aliens invading the world or something... (but thanks to Lisbon we obviously as irish people didnt fight cos we said no, sorry we voted no on that aliens.. we can't fight, thats not allowed here im afraid, guess you will have to enslave us!) but say you personally saved the day and was offered a knighthood, would you take it... considering our history with the crown. I know we have no problems with british people but there will always be that feeling towards the crown!

PS. sorry about the rant, the reason does not matter, its the principle though of the matter... i know bono and bob geldof took it but like... would you... podge would you?
Additional Details
1. i cannot spell... i am sorry
2. Budda, the question was... "as an irish person" and the question is in the irish section so... you are a self proven idiot!
3. civil pro, you think my avator looks weird now? you should see the full the size one "its got knives and babies in it, no joke!)
4. Ian M... i never knew that, thank you!
5.

Priscilla Duck
Damned right I would. Any chance to become a Dame Duck rather than a lame duck, even if the title was only honorary. I'll t.ake one of those honorary Harvard PhDs too, while you're at it. That's Doctor Dame Duck to you, commoner..

Ian M
If your not a British citizen you cannot be awarded a knighthood. That's why Bob Geldorf only got an honorary one.

So as an Irish citizen forget it.

Being Irish myself my answer has to be no and not just because I'm female!

Orla C
Attagirl Priscilla, I love to see a spirited duck.

I would too.

Aye I would. The little medal is sure to be worth a few bob so I could shove it on Ebay to tide me over financially until things are better.

Me granny used to say " never look a gift horse in the mouth "
If something is offered to you for nothing.... take it.
A refusal may cause offence.

Kimberlee Taylor
Personally I won't, I disagree with the whole idea of a royal family as it goes against equality, it's not just the British royal family I disagree with.
