Hello Loiuse,
From the mountains in the Slieve Auchty Region, and so happy and proud to be coming home for mu annual trip home every year in July, so many of my Family will be delighted to see me again, as I pulled their legs 45 years ago, by telling them that I have secured a job, working for a certain Mr Hadrian, doing a spot of wall building, to help keep the English out of Scotland, and that I am still at it all the time, My Aunt Bridie said to me a few years ago, " Janey, Tony, that must be a powerful wall you are at" and every year I tell her that this wall is so big and thick it seems to be working, because the only people I can see over the wall, are Scots People wearing beautiful Kilts and teaching cats to sing by blowing wind into their tails, and rthere are no English people north of this great wall of Scotland, and that Mr Hadrian is so pleased with me, looking out for his wall, that he lets me come home to Ireland for a while, every year, I don't want to tell her what I really do, as she would become nervous, and she herself pushing 90 years of age, and thinking meself is still a lad of 21, with a wonderlust so great that no wall in the world would be any problem for me to look after.
I will be back on me mountain next month and weep when it is time for me to leave my beautiful land for another while, but when my wife retires from her work soon, we are coming home for good, and Mr Hadrian, can shove his wall, all the way to China, for all I care..
I hope this made you smile a bit Louise, and it's true, I really am coming home next month, and more truth is I never even saw the sky over that ridiculous wall, just as daft as that wall in China, Have they got English hiding behind that one too? Well, I am not going to China, not at my time of life. ha ha ha ha !! Bye Louise......Tony M .....

I have a friend who is from Tipperary, and a few years ago went to her wedding there. It was the most amazing celebration ! Beautiful scenery too. It was my first time in Ireland, and have been back to other places since....and hopefully will be there again soon.

Tipperary is indeed a beautiful place and you should be very proud.
I think all Irish people are just as proud about what county they are from more so than any other country i have noticed.
And then no one more prouder than a Corkonian, we just love it to bits and we are the real capital.
What other county can call themselves the Peoples Republic.
Come on the rebels

Dublin-Girl88
I'm from Dublin, and proud to be as well!
Ive never actually been to Tipperary, but Ive heard its lovely... my friends grandmother is from Tipperary!!

Um, if you want to add another comment, why not just edit what you've already said (rather than starting yet another thread)?

By the way, if your points on YA are important to you, you're losing 5 for every question you ask
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/info/scoring_system.php;_ylt=AnxUOD.OSZCDlY1srY071NggBgx.
you can get 3 back when you choose a best answer though ;-)

Edit: Yes, some people can be nasty. Just take no notice. They're only jealous - either that or stupid ;-)
