i say that a lot i must say lol

well when im using the phrase "your man" its said more along the lines of "awk ya know your man...your man!!...what do ya call him?? awk, awk, i dunno"

haha thats how i go on when i cant remember the name of someone i am telling someone about. (thats the only time i ever say "your man", i never say "your one"

as to why i use it, i dunno, i guess i grew up hearing it and carried on with saying it.

Pyro
Like the phrase 'do be' it is just better at explaining stuff, but only Irish can seem to understand it.

Its Cultural
Its short for saying 'I'm talking about the man that is in your view' i.e. You're man!
Or when you say 'you know your man', just short for saying 'I can't remember what his name is, but he is associated with...(whatever you happen to be talking about at the time).
That's what I think anyway!

Its a real Irish thing to refer to people that way. I don't know why though!
