The La Brera gallery is nice or there's a nice small museum in La Scala. You can do day trips from Milan on your own using the trains. Como is a short trip - a day on the lake is a nice choice.garda Lake also has a lot to see; you can take the train to Desenzano or Peschiera Del Garda. If you do, take the boat to Sirmione. there's a nice castle and an extensive Roman ruin where the old town is. Bergamo is another good day trip. Go see the upper city there. Other options - Verona, Venice, or Florence. You can do any of these as day trips.

try looking up things to do that does not involve lots of $$ did you check out the "Duomo", huge cathedral, if you are into soccer, huge stadium called San Siro. Learn the histrty. |

Depends what you like doing. There are lots of designer shops if you want to go window shopping, beautiful architecture, churches, and museums. Great night life, watching the world go by on a pavement cafe, eating great food |
