I would much prefer rome. paris is nice, but if I was going to live in France I'd live outside of Paris for sure. Rome is beautiful and just an amazing place to live.

ROME!
the history dates back much further than france [can you say ROMAN EMPIRE?!]. also, as a whole, there are more historical cities than france [florence, venice, pisa, naples, milan, etc], while france's main historical city is paris. rome has things like the pantheon, the colosseum, the trevi fountain, and the vatican. the food is also MUCH better in italy: pasta, pizza, gelato, etc. i have been to france many times, but i am so happy i go to university in rome. it is fabulous. italy has it all! CIAO!

I lived in Rome and all I want to do is go back. It was the most amazing place I've ever been (and I went to Paris) and I love the Italian people and everything they have! Paris, France is cool too but Roma and Italia are the most amazing!

I am Italian and I prefer Rome only for the food.
I think that also Paris have a good history, some very beautiful monuments and the tourists in Paris are more civilians than the tourists in Italy.

I'm Italian and I prefer Rome to Paris, 'cose there are a lot of beautiful monuments (fontana di trevi, colosseo, foro romano...)
I went to Rome 1 year ago (I live in Milan) and I'm sure I'll never forget it!!! It'amazing!!!
p.s:sorry 4 my orrible english!!

the history of ROME is just fasinating. THey were the world biggest and most powerful empire for quite some time. same for the monuments theres just so much to see like the vatican, leaning tower of piza, and the colusseum. Food is definatly better in France though, so much more variety to choose from. living in rome overaall the best though cuz milan is the fashion capital of the world

I would prefer to live in Paris as much I enjoyed Rome. The atmosphere is different in Paris. They know how to enjoy the little things in life, they know how to relax. I went there in May and I swear I don't think people work long hours there. Everyone was always outside in the parks eating and drinking. Even kids and teenagers were all outside not inside playing video games. Couldn't believe it.

The cultural alone is increable. One of my favorite places was the Sacre Coure, a huge cathedral on top of the hill overlooking an amazing view. The Seine at Cruise at night was amazing, to watch the sunset and all the young people were on the docks or the bridges hanging out, it was very cool. Love, love, love the art! Monet, Rodin, Picasso, De Vinci, Sezanne, I could go on and on. The canvases and sculptures are incredible.

Love the food, I felt like I was eating real food from ground not something that was processed. My favoriteis the 3 scoops ice cream, yummy.

Honestly if I could speak French I would totally move there.

Rome although it's absolutely HUGE, but then again-so is Paris. I like the food better in France, it's all pasta and paninis in Italy (I studied in Florence for the year) but the people in Rome are much nicer then in France. The history is also amazing in Rome from the Colleseum to the Vatican.
