It's suppose to be Italian...says my friend.
And my friend also said it like it was suppose to be a compliment??

Definitely not an Italian word.
If it was russian "nasdarovia" means "cheers".
Italian sentence "non sto via (per molto, etc)" means "I'm not going to stay away (much times, etc)"

hi there...i'm italian....nastrovia is cheers in poland language....in italy to say cheers you have to say "cin cin" or "alla salute".....in sardinia we say "a chent'annos"...the meaning is "other 100 years"
