I love Italy! I've been to Rome, Venice, and Naples. I cannot wait to go back. In fact, I would like to retire to Italy if I can afford it.

What's not to love? The art, the history, the geography, and the food are all terrific. Even the language is beautiful!

And the Italian people were wonderful. Very patient with this tourist attempting to parlare italiano.

I have family there and I've been there three times for extended periods of time, so it's like a home away from home.

Well let me tell you Italy is Fantastic but their are some down falls to Italy and here are some of them.
When I was thier from 1979-2000 it was great but if you to try to make a living their it is not easy and when they changed from the Lira to Euro everything has gotten more expensive to live stay and just to be able enjoy everything.
I will say I do miss the food and I will say is the best in the world and also the deserts also are fantastic.

well, I've been living in Italy for than a year but it took me about 6 months to get use to the Italian way of living. If you are the kind of person who likes Order you'd have a terrible time over here, if you like good costumer service don't even bother to come. I miss so many things from America, over here, everything is so OVER priced and people don't care about anything, not to mention bureaucracy. Although I have to say that once you get use to their way of living you'll be alright.

I don't like and I'm hal brazilian and half italian..I live in Rome since I was 7 but Italy is a beautiful country to visit but not to live in it! Trust me.. Italian people are very unhappy nowadays....
