Any advice on itinerary part two??

i have asked about this before and am now amending the trip to this itinerary but am still unsure:

flying to verona, brescia for a 13 night trip with my teenage daughter. we leave on the 16th of may

2 nights staying in verona, daytrip to lake garda.
3 nights in venice
then, am not sure if we should spend 3 nights in Florence and take day trips to siena, San Gimignano, montepulciano, chianti maybe etc.

and then 2 nights in lucca
3 nights in rapallo.

but am not sure if we should stay the 4 nights in Florence, and one night in lucca or 2 nights in lucca and 3 nights in Florence??

I've already answered yr previous question.
2 nights in Verona are ok
2 nights in Venice - 3 nights there are too many (stay 1 day longer in Florence)-
5 nights in Florence - based there to visit all over Tuscany as already posted in my previous answer-
1 night in Lucca is sufficient
3 nights in Rapallo are ok (remember to visit le Cinque Terre)

This should be a perfect trip-

Definitely go to florence and go to the countryside - you can do siena and san gimignano in one day for sure (they are both very small towns) - the landscape is AMAZING. I did chianti and siena/san gimignano as day trips, but it might make sense to look into doing an overnight tour, or renting a car and driving (which I would prefer - more freedom), instead of driving back and forth from florence.
I adore Lucca.. only spent a day there not sure if you need more than that... maybe stay there for one night and two days?
Never been to rapallo... but I would check on the weather.. beach towns can be depressing when the weather isn't sunny and i know it rains a lot there around this time of year...
Overall, i'd say spend 3 nights in florence (go to the boboli gardens and fiesole if you have time and if trattoria zsazsa is still open, it is yummy simple food), do an overnight trip into the countryside to siena and san gimignano. Spend one night in Lucca (you can always go to pisa too - see the tower before it falls). Check on the weather for rapallo.

Buon viaggio!

I have not been to Lucca, but you can do Florence in three days, but I suggest that you have three solid days there. As for the day trips make sure you make the plans in advance. We returned from Italy in late March and were unable to book a day trip to Pisa through any of the tour companies. Although it wasn't tourist season, it was impossible. There is a tour bus that is red you can catch at the Termini. It was 20Euro for two days and took you to all the major sites in Florence. It was a way to hit all the sites in a day. It also took you up to Feosole. Again there was some confusion with this since it wasn't tourist season, but we did eventually get there. It was beautiful. By the way I went to ZaZa as well. It was fabulous! Make sure you have the trio of meats and soups. Delish!

I hope you have a few days to rest when you get home, you have quite an itinierary. I was 10 days in Florence, Rome and Venice and was completely exhausted when I returned: )

Why Lucca? I don't like it.
