Anyone been to Rome over Xmas before ???
Got a short break over Xmas incl Xmas eve, Xmas day and Boxing day. Being the Roman Catholic capital will everything be closed or is there anything to do ??? Any recommendations ???
Most of the shops will be closed and there will be less buses, the underground service could be limited. Restaurants, pubs and clubs are usually open, especially downtown. As regards museums it changes from place to place. Churches will be very crowded.
