Sigonella here I come?; it has been quite, a while but one of the best restaurants near Catania (or close to the base) was in the town of Misterbianco. I believe the name of the restaurant was paradiso or something like that; you drive up a very steep hill, and the restaurant was on top.
Another decent place was the hotel (Total) on the CT-PA autostrada. an epicurean society used to meet at the restaurant, and the buffet was outstanding.
As I said it has been a while and I do not know if there are still there, but overall all the restaurants in that aprticular area are faily decent and reasonable.

You had answer about eat, I'll tell you to visit Palermo (the capital of this wonderful island) and you'll no regret. There are many others places on the coast when you can have fun and enjoy of life.Buon viaggio ! |
