I traveled to Italy last year. I loved it so much that I'm going again this year!!! I have to recommend Rome, which to me is the most beautiful city in the world. If you are in Rome for more than 3 days, I recommend that you go to the Tivoli Garden... Villa de Este. It's located about 1/2 hour away from Rome, so you could go and come back the same day. Totally worth it!!!!
If you would like to travel South, visit the Naples area. Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii and the island of Capri. The location is amazing, the people are friendly and very laid back. You have to try the beaches there too. If you like the beachy, tropical environment then I would really recommend the south of Italy and maybe even Sicily.
If you would like to travel North of Rome. You have to see Pisa of course. Florence is a beautiful city to discover, but you only need two days max. I recommend taking the two red tour buses in the city; they take you all around the city for like 20 euro and in one bus they go on top of a small hill/mountain.... excellent place to have lunch and take a view of the city. To continue north, of course Venice.... a serenaded gondola is priceless. And if you have more time then go to Milan.
I hope the best for your honeymoon and hope my tips will do you good. |

Because it's your honeymoon, Venice! It's one of the most romantic places on Earth. If you are a history buff, then Rome with a day trip to Pompeii. If you are a christian buff, then Rome with time in the Vatican (Sistine Chapel is spectacular). If you want the beach, then Naples. Either way, Italy is a great place to visit. Congrats and good luck. |

you should definately go to naples and rome. close to naples in pompei, where a volcano erupted in the city distroying it. In rome, you should go to the spanish steps. also go see all the beautiful fountains. if you are a great shopper, go to milan, they have the best designers. from native designers like dolce and gabbana, intercontinental designers like chanel, ane more. In pisa, go to the leaning tower of pisa. its pretty cool. Also try nutella there. |

Florence and Venice. Fabulous.
Hint: Go to Venice and spend the night, so you can see the sights early in the morning before the tours arrive. It gets very crowded in the summer. |

Florence: 4 days, Venice: 2 days.
Maybe Verona or Pisa for a day too.
Best fly to London from the US, and then take a budget flight to and from Italy. Pisa , Rome and Venice are popular budget flight options.
