Are italian men players?

Nationality has nothing to do with being a "player," but I will tell you that unlike what a previous answer stated about Italian men being family oriented, that is not necessarily the case. I used to live in Italy (I am American) and I found that quite a few of the Italian men I know who are married were also having affairs - and most of the wives knew about it! I was told that it was "just something Italian men do" but a few of the wives and that they had to either accept it or get out of the marriage, which is a very, very long process in Italy.

Trust me - I am not prejudiced - I'm just telling what I learned firsthand. The Italian men that I did meet there were all (except for one very strange man!) very nice, considerate and appeared to not be "players" to me.

But take that with a grain of salt - and remember that a man in any culture/country can have faults.

People of all colors, races, religions, and creeds can be players.

No...Italian men are family oriented and passionate about those they love. My dear, you cannot judge a man soley by nationality.....that borders on being a racist yourself which I'm sure is not what you intend. Chow Bella.

Some Italian men can be seen as players because they are more upfront about their feelings. Shyness is rare in Italy and done properly it can be a lot of fun and much better than the North American way of useless small talk for hours filled with lies.
If the man ( and this is a general life lesson, not just in regards to Italian men ) sees you as a serious, intelligent human being, then the players will stay away. If on the other hand you go out there and portray yourself as a victim or as wanting to just hook up, then you will attract all sorts of international players, not just Italian.

Good luck
