Are there any cheap but trendy stores in Rome? I'm looking for stores similar to H&M and Forever 21.?

I'm going to Rome in two weeks and I would like to go shopping while I'm there. Are there any stores that are similar to H&M and Forever 21 in style and price? Stores that aren't in Rome but are close would also be good. Also, Is there anywhere I can find designer clothes for cheap? I will be in Italy until December.
Additional Details
I know there are H&Ms in Italy bu I want a different store. One SIMILAR to H&M.

Cheap is relative, but for trendy, inexpensive clothing try the stores Blu Sand, Habana, Etam, Motivi, and Mango. You can find these on the main shopping streets of Via Nazionale and Via del Corso.

There is also quite a bit of shopping in Termini Staion. You can find Mango, Motivi and Etam there.

Don't count on anything being cheap.

With the world market like it currently is, it is ridiculous to consider shopping in Europe when your first criteria is Cheap. The exchange rate isn't the only thing that attracts Italian's to our shores - My husband had a fit when he found out what Dolce & Gabana and Armani suits cost here, and though we split our time between Italy & the US now he hates it when I buy clothes there. (not that that stops me! thou he's right)

Yes, you will time to time find deals, but don't plan to pack lite hoping to do some great shopping. Designer clothes are always more expensive over there and discount chains are non-existant. The US - Euro exchange rate is like adding on 30% anyway.

Zara is great. Benetton is everywhere and of course there is H & M. Oviesse has some decent cheap stuff. There is a factory outlet outside the city called Castel Romano where they have last seasons items. There are some great deals, some good deals and some that I still won't step through the door (ie. Valentino's). Have fun!!

Any cheap designer clothes will be fake knockoffs.

The only possible exception would be in consignment stores that get donated stuff from estate sales.
