Northen Italy have a lot of job opportunities. Is very similar to developed European countries.
Unfortunately the south is very poor and have a lot of unemployed people. You may find something in the tourism sector.
In the other hand the south is very cheap and has good food.

unemployment is very high is southern Italy..you would need to have some very specific job skills to get work there. Even with that you will have some 'funny' payments shall we say to be able to take any position offered to you. The best way is to make friends and work for them on a part-time basis and look at ways of making money from companies outside Italy.

is better if you go in the north of the italy.the south don't offer much possibility.

If you are not Italian, there are *very* few chances for you in southern Italy. In factm there are few for Italians as well.
if you want to work in italy and your main skill you want to leverage for your job is the knowledge of English, you definitely need to be in a big city. Better in Northern Italy, like MIlan, or Turin, or even Bologna. Rome, of course, has some opportunities as well.
