It's very hard to find skyscrapers in Italy...

And especially in Venice which is a city completely built on the water... It's also one of the most important historic, cultural and artistic cities in Italy and I think that skyscrapers in Venice would ruin this very very very very beautiful city...
In fact there is some law that strongly limits and forbids new buildings in and near historic centers....

HI!! I'm italian and as someone said in venice there's no skyscrapers but a lot of ancient building. and I had to say that it isn't true that in italy there aren't skyscraper. if you went in milan, for example, you'd find a lot, not as many as in america but you can find them!! goodbye

hi..i am italian and i live in venice...sorry but venice hasn't got skyscrapers..

dingomi
in italy we dont have the skyscrapers. one motiv is because for our building regulation plan in the city the higher build will be the church, another motiv are the earthquake. the taller tower is called grattacielo pirelli (skyscrapers pirelli ) and is located in milano near the train central station. i think is around 110 mt is a couple of meter shorter the duomo cathedral. on the pirelli roof there is and hight radio television antenna and became highter the duomo. years ago a small plane crashed on this skysrapers.
is only office,
cheers i come from milano
