My Nonno is from Sicily , he has been Australia for 60 odd years and still has a thick accent and is very fond of the traditions of the mother country. But I have never been out of Australia. I would like to go to Sicily one day.

I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in the north east. No I am not Sicilian but have been to Sicily nearly every year for the past 27 years.... this doesn't make me Sicilian but I sure do know plenty about Sicilians.
I've been in Europe on and off since 1976.
