hi, i am italian usually we use arriverla if we dont know the person very well, and we use arriverci if we know the person. usually othe formal expression could be: venga, s'immagini, lei, voi, a risentirla, mi perdoni, la prego, non si disturbi, etc.. informal could be: vieni, immagina, tu, a risentirci, perdonami, ti prego, non disturbarti etcc..
bye... (all make sense for you?) |

"ArrivederLa" (especially with capital A) is very very formal and old fashioned by now.
"Arrivederci" is frequent when you say goodbye to someone that you don't know very well and it's more formal than "ciao". |
