i'm italian, and i was in sardegna 3times. in north, there's santa teresa di gallura (the place), rena bianca (the name of the beach in santa teresa) is the best beach i ever seen. near s.teresa there are many many wonderful beaches, i'd suggest you VALLE DELLA LUNA, and if you have a car, going around you can stop wherever you want, it's all wonderful. from santa teresa you can buy a ticket for a day in a boot who gets you to Maddalena, Spargi and Budelli, for some hours.
in south i have been in villasimius to the tanka village who has a very great beach with white sand, and many other near are for free.

I think the best beach in Sardinia is 'Pinetta' beach which is in Alghero (North)!!!
