i love venice!!! you should check out the rialto bridge. they have great shopping there. plus at saint mark's square they have tons of cute little coffee shops. if you're catholic, saint mark's cathedral is freaking beautiful and they have the most gorgeous rosaries in there!! even if you're not, go look at the cathedral.

i'm sure there are great hotels there, but when i go there, i stay in my aunt's apartment.

and i never went on a gondola ride, but they're really romantic. but i did go on a ferry ride and went up and down the canals. there were so many scenic things. i totally think you should do that!

also check out the bridge of sighs. it has a window where prisoners looked out before they were executed. it is beautiful though!

Go to the Doge's Palace, Piazza San Marco. This is where everyone goes and must be seen if you are only going to visit Venice once. For photos, hire a gondola or take the water taxi. For young adults, go to the Dorsa Duro.
