Can I use an Irish maestro/laser card in Italy and Greece?

I used my laser and maestro card a lot in Italy and they are from AIB bank in Ireland. You shouldn't have any problems, but a lot of businesses in Italy only accept cash (even youth hostels and some hotels) so you might need to use ATMs more than anything, but if you are in a big city, try a few if one doesn't work and you'll get one that works with laser. You won't have too many problems, but a credit card is much better if you don't want to have to walk around with cash from ATMs.

Hi,

as far as I know "Maestro" is a sort of credit cart and you can use that everywhere.

I live in Italy and Maestro card is quite commun here. So you should not have problems.

Don
Yes you can and you can use all over Europe and the USA also.

Hi,
this is Josef K from Italy.
Maestro card (Mastercard's debit card) is widely accepted in Italy for cash withdrawal at ATMs and for POS payments.
