Can I walk from the Claridge Hotel in Rome Italy to the train station-and how long would it take?
No, the Claridge really isn't convenient walking distance from Roma Termini station; it's about 7 km. There's a Muse bus #360 that will take you from Roma Termini to the hotel. Get off the bus at the Liegi/Ungheria stop. At Termini station, the stop is to the far left if you're facing away from the station; make sure you take the bus in the direction of Piazza della Muse rather than Piazza Zama (same line but the other direction from the station). It should be 15 minutes or so on the bus depending on traffic.

Why don't you e-mail the hotel and ask them? They might have another suggestion.

It is exactly 1.7 miles walking which will take you about 40 minutes. 50 minutes if you have a modest amount of luggage.
From your hotel, cross the street to Viale Rossini. Go 80 meters south to Via d’Arezzo. Take Via d’Arezzo SE 0.5 kilometers to Via Salaria. Take Via Salaria (turns into Via Piave) 1.20 kilometers to Via Goito. Take Via Goito 450 meters SE to Via San Martino Battaglia. Take Via San Martino Battaglia 200 meters SW – Termini station is on your left.
I'm assuming it is this Hotel Claridge (Viale Liegi 62- 00198 Rome ):
