Can anyone recommend a good tour of Italy? |
Im looking for a relatively nice tour that provides some guidance, but also will give me some freedom to explore on my own. I dont want to be tied down to my tour group for every meal, etc. Any suggestions? I would love to check out all of the major touristy spots as well as Sicily. Thanks =) |

I went on a trip to italy through school it was an exchange we used a company called ACIS they offer tours around the world knowledgable guides and it was all inclusive for us 2 weeks, breakfast and dinner. but we only did one week with the tour saw milan, switzerland, venice, verona, padua, ravenna, florence, cinque terre, pisa, gubbio, assisi, one week of touring and ours was about $2500 a person.
http://acis.com/ is the site ours was a travel intensive trip you dont have to do such big trip this year were doing a smaller one and its going to rome. |

Visit Rome and all Tuscany for example: Florence, Pisa, Livorno and Cost of Tuscany. Because the group is very heavy. Good trip in Italy.

I suggest you:
-Rome - let the majesty of our great town fascinate you...it's magic!
-Caserta- visit the 'reggia': the royal palace built in the eighteenth century by French kings, a real masterpiece of architecture and relax in the huge royal park.
-Capri: Lose yourself in the maze of flowers, streets, colours, sea...that's the island of summer! |

Try Naples and then travel around and let your eyes as your guide. Fron Naples all evening about 9 o'clock p.m. boats to Palermo Sicily with or without car. And once in Palermo use again eyes. I suggest to direct Messina and Catania. |

They have these double deck tour buses its all day but you hop on and off when you want. ITs like E20 apx for the day you get headphones and they explain things as the bus drives and if you want to get off at the stops you do if not you stay on. We have done it and it works well because it goes to all the places in Rome, Florence, and some other big cities. |
