My family of five stayed last summer at the Relais Uffizi, check info@relaisuffizi.it. I am returning by myself this February to the same hotel. It is difficult to find the first time, but worth the effort. (Don't try to drive yourself, rely on websites suggestions.) It's located in an alley that ends up at the Uffizi - very close to the Ponte Vecchio. Go the other direction in the alley and you're close to Piazza della Signoria. Our room had a loft with a sitting area and a bedroom. We were very pleased. Breakfast room looks out onto Piazza della Signoria with the Duomo in plain view. |
