Mount Etna located in Catania, Sicily
Europe's tallest and most active volcano

Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Sicily
Archaeological site
great temples of ancient Akragas

Monreale Cathedral in Palermo, Sicily
National monument of Italy
The Norman Kings built the church
The church is full of exquisite mosaics

your welcome)

I would have to say
1. The Etna. Excellent and you can go up to the old crater and even ski down the Etna in the winter. Great views.
2. The Greek Theatre, Taormina. - Excellent views and great culturally.
3. Catania fish market. Brilliant.
4. Stromboli island - Stunning

San Vito lo capo(near Trapani) is famous for his beautiful beach
Etna, this is a volcano, it is between Catania and Messina
Palermo(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palermo)

I also suggest you sicily's water-ice, it's very good

I suggest..
1. The temples valley (Valle dei templi) near Agrigento. There are the ruines of some huge and beautiful greek temples.
2. The greek-roman theaters of Siracusa, Taormina and Tindari
3. The Island of Mothya, located in front of Marsala.

Genius Cook
1. Erice
2. Noto
3. Marsala

I've been to all three...

PS - wait. you want landmarks? =
1. the Norman Castle in Acicastello
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acicastello
2. The mosaic floors of the Roman Villa in Piazza Armerina
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villa_Romana_del_Casale
3. The statue of the elephant with the obelisk on it in the main plaza "down town" Catania.

1. Monreale is a really beautiful little town with wonderful mosaics - just a little way out of Palermo.
2. Valley of the Temples at Agrigento on the southern coast is also great. Ruins of an ancient Greek settlement.
3. Mt Etna - What is there to say?
4. Syracuse - the island in the harbour is ancient and very beautiful with a Christian basilica which actually is built around an ancient Greek temple with some of the original temple still standing.
5. Palermo Cathedral is stunning with its Middle Eastern influences and sheer enormity.
