Yes, if you are traveling from the US, it is allowed. This is directly from the TSA website, not something I just made up or am guessing on.
"Laptop computers, cellular phones, iPods, and other portable electronic devices are allowed on board an aircraft. These items must still be screened at the security checkpoint."

yes u can, the new terror regulations only prohibt liquids, and lotions and make scanning shoes a requirement. Plus all the old ones of course, try the TSA website for full details

i just came back from Portugal a week weeks ago and they let me bring it. it just has to go through security with your carry-on stuff

You should be able to take your ipod on the plane with you however you do have to put it thru the x-ray machine and prove that it works and is what you say it is. You may still want to check with the Airline and Airport as to what their security requirements are.

yeah as long as turn it off when they tell u to.... they tell everyone cell phones ipods and computers have to be off on certain times during the flight.... oh yeah and dont forget NOT to bring any liquid on the plane....

I don't think so, not after all the terrorist drama over the past few weeks.
I feel that your going to be bored, but try talking to someone and don't run the risk of Security confescating your ipod.

I don't know the ipod or yourpod, but I know you still have the right to be a Christian which no one can take it from you and you can bring a Holy Bible to read GOD's Word.
