Cheapest & best cafe in rome italy honeymoon over 50?
my husband & I, will be in rome on our honeymoon for 4 days,we are english speaking only, can anyone help us find good honest old fashioned roman eating places. May the Lord Bless You.
there are hundreds of cafes and they are nearly all good. if its something proper to eat you are looking for then there is a place on via sardegna that serves really good pizza, pasta and meat. i cant remember the name but it has ivy leaves painted all around the door and front of shop. via sardegna is just north of the via veneto, nearest metro stop is barberini. in general, you must go far from the tourist attractions to get value for money.

La Cicala & La Formica----If you take metro Line B from Termini, get off at Cavor, cross the street after exiting to your left, walk down the steps, and walk straight. If you are taking the metro to Termini, you just get off and walk straight out of the stop entrance.
