Cinque Terre to Venice By Train?

The fastest way to go is to take the train from Monterosso at 7:35 am. It doesn't stop at any of the other towns in Cinque Terre and goes all the way to Bologna. You transfer in Bologna to a Eurostar arriving in Venice at 1:17 pm. The total travel time is 5 hr 42 min.

The next fastest option is to take one of the trains from Monterosso that go to Milan and transfer to a Eurostar to Venice. There are trains at 5:19 am, 10:55 am, 12:55 pm, 2:55 pm, and 4:55 pm. These take around 6 to 6 and a quarter hours. Other options will take longer and require more train changes. Unfortunately, the night train from Nice to Venice is no longer running. I used to go from Cinque Terre to Genova to catch that to Venice. You could sleep through the night and arrive in Venice early in the morning.

I think from Monterosso to Milan and Milan to Venice (via Eurostar or Interstar trains).
