Could somebody help plan my days in Rome? |
I'm heading to Rome on a Friday in February, arriving in the evening, and staying there for another 3 days. Could somebody help me plan my days there? What to do during the days, what to do in the afternoon and in the evening (since it gets dark early). Maybe a visit to the Vatican, a visit to the Trevi fountain, the colosseum... I'd really appreciate it your help. |

I went to school there in 1978/1979. I would go back just to see the cathedral ceilings again. St. Agnese at Piazza Navona is elegant. Santa Maria Della Quattro Fontani (not far from the Spanish Steps) is another example of brilliant use of small space. Try not to miss Santa Maria Maggiore, Il Jesu, and so many other beautiful churches, and of course St. Peter's. Make plans to return for a longer stay to see more. |
